Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I'll say it here because even though you can say mean things to me if you like, you can't actually stone me. I'm not a fan of the Harry Potter books. When the books were first published I tried reading them but after the first chapters I simply gave up. Then came the movies.
I didn't go to see the first five films in the theater but my children did and loved them all. When they came out on DVD, we bought them and I found that unlike most adaptations, I thought the movies were more interesting than the books. So I have to admit, I'm looking forward to the opening of "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" this month. I want to know what happens during the sixth year at Hogwarts.
The film opened Tuesday in London. Pre-sales of tickets suggests that it will surpass "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" as the biggest film of the year. I've been reading reviews and other blogs all morning and I'm getting mixed reviews. I especially liked this review by Charlie and Freddie Ruddle they're young but honest. Other reviews I've read mention the adolescent hormones raging among the cast of this film but none so eloquently as Freddie who seems quite put off by the snogging. joblo.com calls it the best Harry Potter film yet. The Telegraph.co.uk said that the movie had a great opening scene.
The consensus seems to be that if you like the other movies in the series, you will like this one.
